I recently stumbled across Dub FX, an Australian street performer who makes music using only his voice and the things around him. He does it all live by looping and layering different sounds with a loop station. He is totally independent, using only word of mouth, live shows, and the internet to get known. So here is his strategy in action. :P Check him out, he’s awesome.

Like the website says, it’s a good (and satisfying) way to destroy annoying ads.

Universal Hall Pass
I recently came across this band, Universal Hall Pass, and I’m a little bit in love with it. It’s a one girl band and her music is hauntingly beautiful. It gives me chills sometimes. Give her a listen.
